CHILDREN and adults are invited to take the plunge at the open air pool at Marbury Country Park.
The pool is set in lawned gardens and surrounded by woodlands which screen and shelter the pool and its users.
The pool is unheated and features two diving boards – a springboard and a platform board. There is also a childrens’ paddling pool and a small play area.
Membership for the 2017 season is priced as follows, and comes with a free parking sticker for the Marbury Park car park per application.
Adult membership is £50 and child membership - age three to 16 - is £20. Under 3s swim free. The pool opens daily from May until the end of August.
If the weather is good the pool will remain open into early September. The season closing date will be posted on the pool noticeboard nearer the time.
Daily opening hours are as follows: May – 1pm to 6pm - pool members admitted at noon; June, July, August – noon to 7pm - pool members admitted at 11am. Day tickets are available to buy on the gate.
