A NORTHWICH woman has been reunited with an engagement ring after she lost it on Valentine's Day.
Yesterday, Northwich Police launched an appeal to help reunite the unlucky lover with the platinum solitaire diamond engagement ring.
It was believed to have been lost on the Memorial Hall car park.
Writing on its Facebook page yesterday, Cheshire Police, said: “If you have been in the area and found it, please call 101 and let us know so we can reunited it with its owner.
“If you happen to be in the car park over the next few days, please take a few moments from your day to have a little look down to the ground just in case it catches your eye.”
The owner has now been reunited with the ring.
Writing on Facebook today, Hollie Smith, said: "Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the wonderful lady and her daughter who handed the missing ring in I posted yesterday, you truly are an angel!
"If this was you or you know who it was please can you let me know as we would like to say thank you personally."
