MOTORISTS adhering to the speed limit have been getting flashed by a fixed speed camera on the A556 in Northwich since yesterday.
The problem was first reported at around midday yesterday and has continued to cause panic.
Cheshire Police have now issued advice to motorists who are getting snapped by the speed camera.
A police spokesman said: “Cheshire Police has been made aware of a possible technical error linked to a fixed speed camera on the A556 in Northwich.
“A member of the safety camera team went to check the camera.
“If you are flashed by the camera, log the time and date you went through the speed camera as a precaution, but here is no need to call anyone at this stage.”
