A PEDESTRIAN has been hit by a car in Northwich.
The incident happened in Manchester Road, near B&Q, around 5pm tonight.
The collision involved a woman pedestrian and a man driving a Nissan X-TRAIL.
The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was taken to Leighton Hospital.
The road has now been reopened.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “We were called at 5.05pm this evening to reports of a female pedestrian in a collision with a car.
"The pedestrian was taken to Leighton Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be serious but she has yet to be assessed."
