TICKETS are now available to pre-book at the Odeon Cinema in Barons Quay.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be the first film to be screened at the new five-screen, 707 seat cinema at a special midnight screening.

Viewers willing to be able to enjoy Rogue One on one of the first iSense screens in the UK, which Odeon calls iSense the ‘ultimate way to enjoy cinema’.

iSense feature 4K digital projectors that deliver almost 9 million pixels – four times the resolution of a standard screen.

The state-of-the art screens also features cutting-edge Dolby ATMOS sound and perfect hi-def images provided by their Digital HD 8000 projection system.

Be prepared to pay a premium for that technology though.

Tickets for adults will set you back £13.50 while children under 12 will pay £11 and teenagers aged 13 to 17 will pay £12. Family tickets are available for £44.

The Northwich iSense screen is one of only five in the UK. The nearest is Oldham, where an adult ticket on the midnight screening of Rogue One costs £7.

Children and teenagers will pay £6.50 while a family of four will set you back £26.

If you wanted to save a few quid and opt for the standard 2D experience. Prices do vary depending on the viewing time.

A number of other movies will be screened in Northwich throughout December, including the critically-acclaimed sci-fi adventure, Passengers, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt and Michael Sheen.

There will also be a number of screenings of family favourites as part of Odeon Kids, with tickets costing £2.50 for the whole family.

Some of the films shown through December include Pixar’s Finding Dory and Kubo and The Two Strings.

Odeon are also giving families a second chance to see this year’s biggest blockbusters, including The BFG.
