STAFF at Boots in Northwich are jumping for joy following the success of their Children in Need events.
The store raised £1,355 by organising a number of fundraising events, including a ‘Jump for Pudsey’ trampolining challenge.
This year is the 12th in a row that Boots has organised fundraising initiatives for the charity.
Winsford Boots raised £201, and the 14 Boots stores in Cheshire together raised £5,351.
Northwich Boots gave away seven raffle prizes, held cake sales and ran a lucky dip.
Staff walked Pudsey through the town centre on November 12 with collection buckets, and took part in ‘Jump for Pudsey’ at Urban Air Trampoline Park in Winsford.
The company agreed to allow Boots staff, their families and Pudsey free entry to jump for one hour from 5pm to 6pm, to raise money for Children in Need in the process.
Among those taking part in the trampolining challenge were Northwich store manager Michelle Cash and assistant manager Cassandra Campbell.
“I was aching in the morning after trampolining for an hour, but it was really good fun,” said Cassandra.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported us.”
