DAVENHAM Cricket Club has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with homebuilders Stewart Milne Homes, securing funds for new equipment and additional coaching.
The club has just completed a successful season, with the under 18s side winning silverware and the under 17s and 15s teams each reaching cup finals.
Karen Gallagher, junior co-ordinator at Davenham Cricket Club, said: “We are really pleased to receive this support from Stewart Milne Homes. The generous sponsorship deal is going to make a big difference to our club and our members.
“This deal will help us to fund a new bowling machine, new kit and additional coaching time for our junior team. In addition to this, we will now be able to support some of our members through coaching qualifications, which will help us to keep providing top-quality training for all of our teams.”
Karen Morris, sales consultant at Stewart Milne Homes, said: “We like to support local community groups wherever we can and as the club is just a stone’s throw from our Hill Top Grange development, this has been a perfect partnership for us.
“We are very happy to be able to support Davenham Cricket Club and will be looking forward to cheering on the team in their brand new Stewart Milne Homes branded whites.”
The Hill Top Grange development has already proved extremely popular with local buyers. For more information on the development, visit stewartmilnehomes.com.
