FROM Friday, August 12 to Saturday, August 20, Anderton Boat Lift will feature top national and regional acts, including the winner of this year’s National Tribute Award, at its second summer music festival.

The line-up will feature headline act Rule the World - the country’s number one Take That tribute band and recent winners of the National Tribute Award 2016.

The festival will also feature the big band sound of seven-piece Crewe and Sandbach-based band, Platform 7, including its three female saxophonists.

Top hits of the 70s and 80s, including music from The Jam and The Cure, will be performed live by Crewe-based band, The Start, and the festival will end with Madness songs from leading tribute band Los Palmas 6.

Friday, August 12 – Rule the World, supported by Field Talks. Advance tickets £17.50, or on the door £22.50. Doors open 6.30pm.

Saturday, August 13– Platform 7. The band will perform a wide selection of Soul and Motown music and will be supported by female vocalist Dion Georgino. Advance tickets £7.50, or £10 on the door. Doors open 6.30pm.

Friday, August 19 – The Start. The four-piece band will play hits from the 70s and 80s, such as The Jam and The Cure. Supported by vocalist Darren Collings. Advance tickets £7.50, or £10 on the door. Doors open 6.30pm.

Saturday, August 20 – Los Palmas 6. Featuring Steve Turner, who played saxophone with Madness for eight years and Natasha Marie, a female vocalist singing SKA music. Advance tickets £17.50, or £22.50 on the door. Doors open 6.30pm.
