SOME of Canada’s finest folk-jazz musicians bring their tour of England to Little Budworth Village Hall next month.

Woody Holler and his Orchestra are to perform at the hall on Thursday, April 21 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the show are available from the venue and can be booked by calling 01829 760 422.

Woody Holler and his Orchestra are purveyors of “western swing” music, and their repertoire is eclectic, featuring finger-snapping swing beats, love croons and “extreme” yodelling.

Their debut record, Western Skies, was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2010.

The Little Budworth show forms part of Cheshire Rural Touring Arts’ (CRTA) spring season of touring, taking professional arts events to rural venues and libraries across the county.

Jen Henry from CRTA said: “We can’t wait to welcome Woody Holler and his Orchestra to Cheshire this season as one of a number of artists we have brought over from Canada in the last couple of years.

“The band are here for one night only, so you really don’t want to miss your only chance to see these incredible international musicians. It’s going to be a fantastic evening.”
