HARTFORD-based choir Bostock Singers are busy learning and rehearsing in preparation for the Christmas season.
Their new musical director, Nicola Howbrigg, and the choir are looking forward to delivering their new repertoire.
If you want to hear them, they are carolling at Capesthorne Hall on Saturday afternoon, November 28 from 12.30pm to 4pm, and the following Saturday, December 5, at St John's Church Centre, Hartford Victorian Fair, between 11.15am and 1.30pm.
On Saturday, December 12 they are singing carols at the Anderton Boat Lift Santa Cruises from 11am to midday before entertaining shoppers at Sainsbury’s in Northwich between 2pm and 3pm.
They finish for their Christmas break on Tuesday, December 15 at their base, Hartford Methodist Church, Beach Road, for a Friends and Family concert at 7.30pm.
Entrance is free, everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be served at the end of the concert.
One of their first engagements in February 2016 is singing at a senior citizens’ lunch at Winnington Recreation Club.
If you enjoy singing and would like to become a member of the choir the group is recruiting tenor and bass singers.
Alternatively, if you would like Bostock Singers to sing at an event you are organising contact Shirley Barnwell at sbarnwell@mailcentre.org.uk or via the website www.bostock-singers.co.uk.
Bookings are now being taken for dates after June 2016.
