FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at a barn in Northwich.
The barn, in Tarporley Road, contained two cylinders, including a propane gas cylinder, so fire crews had to fight the flames from a safe distance to ensure their safety.
Crews were called to the fire, in Whitley, just after 3pm on Thursday, September 10, with six fire engines at the scene.
The site was divided into sectors to help with the firefighting efforts, successfully containing the fire and stopping it from spreading to other farm buildings that contained straw and hay.
Firefighters stayed at the barn overnight.
