FOUR men are due to stand trial at Crown Court in November into an allegation that they sexually assaulted a woman at a Northwich hotel.

The men, from Winsford, have been charged in relation to an alleged incident at The Slow and Easy Hotel in Manchester Road, Lostock Gralam, on Sunday, January 11.

Robert David Anderson, 32, from Chiltern Way, Damon Paul Luke Furmedge, 25, from Stephenson Walk, Joshua Furmedge, 21, from Alundale Road, and Paul Alfie Snape, 29, from Beckenham Grove, all face a charge of sexual assault.

They are also charged with committing an act outraging public decency.

Robert Anderson faces a third charge of taking indecent photographs, and Damon Furmedge faces a third charge of distributing an indecent photograph or pseudo photograph of a child.

The men pleaded not guilty to the charges when they appeared at Chester Crown Court on Friday.

The case was adjourned until Monday, November 23, when the men are due to stand trial at Chester Crown Court in relation to the allegations.

The men were granted bail by the court on Friday.

A charge of malicious communications against an 18-year-old woman from Winsford who was arrested in connection with the alleged incident at the hotel has been discontinued.
