A DUO will bring infectious music and congenial storytelling to Northwich on Friday, February 27.

Broom Bezzums will perform at Northwich Folk Club at the Harlequin Theatre bar, in Queen Street.

Made up of Mark Bloomer and Andrew Cadie, Broom Bezzums have been tearing up and down German autobahns constantly since 2007.

They love returning to the UK for tours and have proved that their unusual yet comfortingly familiar approach to folk music can be a real hit back home too.

Based on Anglo-Celtic traditions, their music is flavoured by Andrew’s Northumbrian homeland and the formidable rock heritage of Mark's Black Country birthplace.

They will be supported by The Scuttlebrook Wake and host for the evening will be Dave Ball.

The Scuttlebrook Wake are a new grouping comprising Matt Rowland, Dominic and Johnny Doran.

Matt is a very gifted guitarist and Dominic and Johnny play whistle and fiddle.

Doors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start.

The event is open to all and tickets, priced £8 or £6 for members, are available on the door.
