CHEEKY regulars at a Davenham pub will be raising eyebrows as well as cash with their latest fundraising idea.

More than 30 members of staff and customers at The Oddfellows Arms have bared all to star in a 2015 calendar in aid of St Luke's Hospice.

Liza Clansey, from the pub, joked: "There are a few parents with children that have threatened to disown them – I know my son has."

Liza is one of 14 women and 17 men aged between 21 and 65 who have bravely posed for photographs with pub props covering their dignity.

Pictures are all based on activities at the Hartford Road pub so models are featured pulling pints, playing darts, watering plants and even riding scooters into the car park.

The calendar will also be reversible as it features a Mr Oddfellows and a Mrs Oddfellows image in each month.

Louise Maidment, who works at the pub, came up with the idea of a naked calendar and has organised it.

She said: "We started off researching it by looking at other calendars but then we themed it on the pub so we've got things like the darts team, dominoes, scooters and cyclists.

"When we were doing the pictures outside we thought we were going to cause some kind of accident – there was one man who drove around the block twice."

Will Mitchell offered his services as a photographer for free and the calendar is being designed and printed by Parker Design Consultants, based in Hartford.

Will said: "This is the first time I've ever done photos of naked people in pubs but it's been good fun.

"There's a really good feel to this pub and local support is unbelievable."

The calendar will be launched at an event at the pub on November 15, complete with a buffet, donated by Punch Taverns, a raffle, a quiz and live music from singer Kate Hazeldine.

Admission is free but entry to the quiz is £2 per person.

Calendars are £9.95 each.

The calendar has already raised £600 in sponsorship from village businesses and the pub hopes it will raise more than £3,000 in sales.
