CHESHIRE West and Chester Council have cleared the Winsford Neighbothood Plan (NP) to progress to a referendum on October 23.
CWAC's executive tonight, Wednesday, September 3, also leant their full backing to an implementation strategy, paving the way for an overhaul of the town centre in the event of a 'Yes' majority vote on the NP next month.
The strategy will encompasses a new integrated transport plan - improving road and rails links - as well as setting out a blueprint for the development of new leisure and retail offerings.
