SCHOOL principal Julie Brandreth has praised “exceptional teamwork and determination” to ensure her students achieved their potential.
Julie leads The County High School, Leftwich, where 76 per cent of pupils achieved five or more GCSEs at grades C or above, including English and maths.
Julie said: “Exceptional teamwork and real determination to ensure students maximise their individual potential are reflected in another very strong academic performance.
“It is particularly pleasing that our planning and preparation have enabled our high standards to hold steady at a time of nationally- recognised qualification changes.”
The school’s chairman of governors, Alison Massey, said: “Once again, the key employability qualifications of English and mathematics will undoubtedly enhance our students’ further education and training prospects, with 90 per cent in English and 82 per cent in Mathematics gaining at least a grade C in this proudly inclusive school.”
