THE centenary of the outbreak of the First World War will be marked with a heritage tour to Duxford Air Museum on Saturday, August 2.

Development of the Arts in Northich (DAN) has organised the tour, with the coach leaving Northwich Memorial Hall at 8am.

IWM Duxford is set in the grounds of a famous former First and Second World War airfield and has a collection of more than 200 aircraft as well as tanks, military vehicles and boats.

The coach will also pick up in Winsford, Davenham, Sandiway, Weaverham, Hartford, Greenbank and Castle.

Tickets are £28, which does not include entry fees.
