Enjoy a ramble in and around Willington

A HILLY route with the reward of some good views is on the cards for Davenham Ramblers.

The group will embark on a five-mile circular walk around Kelsall and Willington on Monday, June 30.

The route includes country lanes, roads within Willington village and wooded tracks. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Walkers should meet at The Bulls Head pub, in London Road, at 6.30pm for car share or at 7pm in the King’s Gate car park off Waste Lane.

Willington???

Never heard of it, sounds like a typo for one of those apalling places that have been systematically destroyed by ICI over the last 150 years.
