AN EQUESTRIAN challenge awaits horse riding enthusiasts in Delamere Forest on March 8.
The event, in aid of Cancer Research UK, will feature a 10 mile and a 15 mile endurance route.
It is of a series of national rides organised by Endurance GB, which is encouraging riders to enter this event whether or not they have done endurance riding before.
Liz Finney, chairman of the Cheshire Group of Endurance GB, said: “This is a family sport, open to anyone with a horse fit enough to complete the distance at a steady pace within three hours.
“It will be a fun day and we hope people will enjoy meeting people, riding through the countryside, and most importantly raise money for this special cause.
“We are organising this event at Delamere Forest for members and non-members and we will donate the proceeds to Cancer Research.
“Riders and/or horses may wear pink if they wish and everyone who complete the ride will be awarded with a special pink rosette.”
The closing dates for entries is March 2.
Entry and sponsorship forms are available at endurancegbcheshire.co.uk.
