A PEDESTRIAN thief who stole petrol from a Davenham garage is among a crime round up for January.
The Spar garage, in London Road, has been targeted by drive-offs and walk-offs within the past month.
PCSO Kat Stock, the officer for Moulton and Davenham, said: “Three times the same person approached the outside pump with a plastic jerry can and filled it full of fuel.”
She spoke during a crime update at Moulton Parish Council’s latest meeting.
Among the round up were two men arrested in connection with the theft of batteries from traffic lights in both Davenham and Moulton.
There were a total of 86 recorded incidents in Davenham, Moulton, Bostock, Stanthorne and Whatcroft throughout the month.
These included four incidents of anti-social behaviour, three reported burglaries and 16 suspicious incidents.
PCSO Stock said: “There’s been nothing of any great significance or anything to worry about.
“But if it doesn’t seem right just let us know then we can do our job and check it out.”
