THREE suspects have been charged by police in connection to 27 burglaries in Northwich, Cuddington, Hartford and Winsford.

Officers said today, Thursday, the trio face charges of conspiracy to commit more than 150 burglaries across Cheshire and Manchester.

Antony Bell, 56, from Manchester; Rosemary Pollard, 57, from Manchester and Daryl Kennedy, 50, of HMP Forest Bank, are due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court this morning.

They have been linked to four break-ins in Winsford, five in Cuddington and 18 in Northwich and Hartford.

A fourth man, 31, from Salford, has been bailed until March 12.

The gang were arrested following a series of dawn raids by police on Wednesday.

Anyone with any information can call police on 101.

It's a shame that a burglar must commit so many crimes before the effort is made to arrest them. It's also a shame that it probably takes this many offenses before any meaningful sentence is passed.
When my property was burgled the police tried to tell me that it was a waste of time dusting for finger prints as "we'll not be able to catch them anyway"!
