QUIZ kings will face off in the annual Challenge Cup competitions on Winsford Industrial Estate and Gadbrook Business Park this month.

2013 Winsford champions, Ruck, are expecting a strong challenge from the likes of SPX Valves, Gemco, Newbury Data and the Red Cross at Wharton Conservative Club on January 23.

Over at Gadbrook Park, current holders Weaver Vale Housing Trust will face off against the likes of Timberwise, Ingenico, Barclays, Ichron, Howard Worth and Turnkey at Nunsmere Hall on January 30.

Event organiser, Mike Kelly, said: “These are great nights for building team spirit, meeting colleagues and generally having a nice time.

“These two business areas drive the local economy and continue to prosper with collective initiatives to ensure continued investment and job growth.”

Each event is due to attract 200 quiz players from both Business Improvement Districts, which collectively support 8,000 jobs across 190 companies.
