Museum appeals for memories of the chemical industry

A MUSEUM is appealing for people with memories of working in Northwich’s chemical industry to help with its new display.

Weaver Hall Museum, in London Road, wants to feature industrial stories of the Northwich area in new galleries opening in 2014 as part of a project funded by Arts Council England.

Ruth Darling, audience development officer for the project, is looking for short quotes to sum up working life in the local chemical industry, which could be used in the interpretation panels in the new galleries.

People can share their memories with Ruth by emailing her at ruth.darling@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.
