GUESTS are invited to join celebrities at Knutsford’s Amber Lounge for an evening of glamour, fun and entertainment to raise money for a meningitis charity.
The VIP night will include an auction by Homes Under the Hammer’s Adam Partridge, celebrity guests and acts such as co-organiser Yvette Royal, Rosemary Quaye Saxophonist and the UK’s leading Amy Winehouse tribute, Caroline Lowe.
Proceeds from the reception on Thursday, December 5 will go to Meningitis Now, a charity close to the heart of co-organiser Marco Dellapina.
“Lots of people, including myself and Yvette, have been affected by this terrible disease,” he said.
“My daughter Rosa had meningitis as a baby and it was a shocking experience. Fortunately she made a full recovery, but it’s something you never forget and we always try to raise awareness and help if we can. It’s going to be a fantastic night.”
Marco has organised the evening with Yvette and Edge Events’ Lynette Cutler, and the trio are encouraging businesses to donate raffle prizes for a competition on the night.
“We are going around trying to get businesses and people to donate raffle prizes, and there’ll be a competition on the night,” added Marco.
