ACTORS are needed for a production of Hi-De-Hi in Northwich in December.

Harlequin Players are holding open auditions on October 9 for 17 performers to fill roles based on the much-loved TV series by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.

In the story Joe Maplin announces that he is setting up a camp in the Bahamas.

He needs female Yellowcoats to go and work there and the annual ‘Miss Yellowcoats' competition will decide who is to go. Camp Cleaner Peggy is thrilled at the prospect of a vacancy for a new Yellowcoat and convinces entertainments manager Jeffrey that she is the ideal candidate for the job.

Performers would need to be available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights for rehearsals starting October 28.

The show dates are December 11 to 14.
