One of the successful workshops.
THE Shane Williams Rugby Academy came to the Grange Junior School.
The young participants were also treated to a visit from Sale Sharks forward, Kernan Myall, who shared the skills and knowledge gained from his 71 premiership appearances.
The academy aims to create fun but instructive sessions, which allow children to express themselves and develop their passion for the game.
The three-day course, which began on October 22, was part of a wider programme organised in partnership with the Co-operative and Activate Sport, aiming to raise the fitness levels of the country's young people.
Activate Sport managing director, Toby Mitchell, said: "Our dynamic enthusiastic and motivated team are continually enhancing our courses and content to ensure that all children enjoy the best Activate Sport experience, regardless of age or ability level."
