About this neighbourhood
map
Winsford NPT covers a large area from the Winsford Town Centre to the out lying villages of Moulton, Davenham, Allostock and Byley with a population of over 30,000 residents
We have two large Industrial Estates which employ staff from the local area. The businesses have an excellent link with the local Police via the Winsford 1 to 5 Estates Manager Mike Kelly. The Town centre is managed PCSO Harley Anderson Croot and PC Pete Taylor who have a good partnership working ethos with the Town Centre Manager.
The area has three large housing estates which are managed by Weaver Vale Housing Trust who part fund 2 PCSO’s and have a number of housing officers who work along side the PCSO’s to reduce and prevent anti-social behaviour in the area. The area has numerous licensed premises which support the local Police in the form of the Pub Watch Scheme and one late night club which provides live entertainment throughout the week. The police have close links with all partner agencies and local councillors to ensure we deal with local issues for the community.
I am keen to ensure the local community have their say in how we tackle crime and anti-social behaviour issues in the Winsford and outlying areas and hold monthly meetings which are advertised on this website for anyone to attend and have your say.
The force responsible for policing and crime prevention in this area is Cheshire Constabulary.
