I HAVE seen a lot of comments regards vehicles parking on pavements.

Has anyone been around the estates that were built in the1950s?

A time when car ownership was few and far between in the estates such as Greenbank, Weaverham, Davenham and Leftwich, but now in 2019 the same estates have numerous car owners that have to share the roads outside their houses with bus routes large delivery vehicles and the refuse collection.

If everyone parked on the road as they have every right to, then how will buses and emergency vehicles pass on these narrow pothole ridden roads?

Car owners have little or no choice, park on the pavement or on the mud patches that were once grassed verges.

Maybe the council will pay for every home to have dropped kerbs and hard standing in what is their gardens?
