Distasteful and unedifying
THE spectacle of the Tory Party at war with itself whilst the Labour Party tries to force an election is distasteful and unedifying.
It is clear that there is no agreement on what course of action the government and Parliament should take to resolve the catastrophic situation that faces the UK.
The UK lacks a functioning government. There is only one way to resolve this matter and that is to put the decision back to the people.
Whatever the outcome of such a vote it would give the country a clear direction to determine our future relationship with the EU and the rest of the world.
