A PEACEFUL and prosperous Christmas to everybody.

But spare a thought for the hundreds of people in Winsford for whom Christmas will not be prosperous.

The Mid-Cheshire Food Bank, the Salvation Army and other charities in Winsford are working overtime to help those in our community who do not have the means to heat and light their homes or to feed their families over what should be the festive season.

Give generously to all of us who are trying to combat this situation in the weeks up to Christmas.
