Once again our roads and town planning department has excelled in achieving a well coordinated ‘bottleneck’ and a maze of hidden roadworks throughout Winsford.
Let’s close the main road artery through the town for at least four nights and ‘set-up’ diversions that take you on detours around neighbouring parishes and then let’s set up a series of traffic lights on the diversions (ie Whitegate Road, Nixon Drive) and cause huge traffic delays to add to the misery of local residents.
It poses the question: Do the local government officers live within the town that they so successfully brought virtually to a grinding exhaust fume stop?
I think not.
