To continue the theme after the demise of the chancellor I for one would not be disappointed to see the back of Mr Osborne.
However perhaps the biggest threat to be imposed on us is fracking. Ineos Shale are about to start seismic testing in the area.
I would warn readers as an insurance assessor that fracking related damage to your property is unlikely to be covered by your insurance policy.
My advice would be to be aware of any seismic testing to take place in your location and take a photograph of your property inside and out, prior to test. If damage should occur you will be better placed to pursue a claim against the company responsible.
