Did anyone hit this pothole?
REGARDING the pothole at the junction of Kings Street and Centurion Way coming from Northwich.
Through the medium of your newspaper could I ask if any other motorists hit a pothole at this junction at any time in late January up until about February 22 when it was repaired.
I hit it with a bad bang on February 8, fortunately not causing any damage.
On January 19, my wife hit the same pothole causing her alloy wheel to buckle necessitating a repair.
The council is claiming that they were not informed of a problem until February 17 and that they fixed it on the 19th and therefore could not be considered negligent.
