REGARDING the temporary lights on Moss Road. The traffic flow has been so much better since the lights have been placed before the row of terraced properties rather than on the end of Moss Road (Northwich Infirmary end).
Usually cars are parked on both sides of the terraced properties along Moss Road. This cannot be helped as they have nowhere else to park, hence traffic travelling towards the lights when they are situated at the end of the junction do not know which one has right of way and there is often confusion and traffic backs up in both directions.
Since the temporary lights have been positioned before the parked vehicles there is no confusion and vehicles move when the lights are green.
I have found this to be so much better, what do others feel?
Perhaps the traffic lights could be moved permanently? Or is there a reason as to why they cannot be moved?
