WITH just over four months left to go, the party political pantomime season has begun in earnest with dubious promises being made and deficit statistics being misrepresented to give the impression the current deficit has been reduced by a greater margin that it has been in real terms.

The parties will be hoping that come voting day the electorate will have returned to being as credulous as ever.

There is one thing of which you can be certain though, the forthcoming elections will be a very real game changer.

There are vast swathes of the current population that rightly feel aggrieved and disenfranchised with the political charade machine in that they all jostle for the centre ground.

I’m appealing to every politically disenfranchised person, please register to vote and turn out to the polling station on voting day.

Ignore the stale political rhetoric, and the politics of personality.

Write on the bottom of your voting paper “none of the above”.

Force the political circus to see that the majority of the electorate demand a change.
