MP Graham Evans, pictured, says the bedroom tax has saved the Government £500m.
But for one London council it has caused a lot of problems, with a 45 per cent rise of rent arrears; one third of councils have arrears of 30 per cent.
It will take two years for the bedroom tax to pay for the reduction in tax.
Mr Evans’ party have given to the richest people in the UK, and it is now difficult to rent larger houses.
Would he be happy for a boy and a girl up to the age of 10 to share a 10x9 bedroom, where you could only use bunk beds?
