NORTHWICH Victoria manager Andy Preece may hand a debut to new signings Lee Dodgson, Carlos Logan and Raphale Evans against lower-ranked Newcastle.

The trio have agreed non-contract terms over the weekend.

Brian Summerskill (hamstring) and Steve Woods (groin) continue to convalesce along with longer term absentees Matthew Brown (groin) and John Disney (broken leg).

Full back Lee McArdle hopes to have shaken off a bout of tonsillitis to feature though.

Vics needed extra time to see off Premier Division rivals Nantwich Town in the previous round, where they fielded a strong starting line-up.

Opponents Newcastle, winner of the Vodkat North West Counties League’s Premier Division last season, will be looking to add a third prize scalp after sending out Chester and Chasetown en route to the last 16.

However Greg Clowes’ men have wobbled in the past week or so, losing back-to-back matches – their first league defeats of the season – against Sutton Coldfield Town and Loughborough Dynamo.

The Castle boss may play former Witton Albion midfielder Peter Heler from the start should the versatile wide man complete his move in time.
