WITTON Albion have been busy laying foundations for their 2026/27 season.
A new signing, player retentions including two on contract and pre-season fixtures have been announced.
Ben Harrison has finally got his man in the shape of Ollie McDonough, brought in from Winsfor United.
Witton were unable to lure the speedy 23-year-old to the U Lock It Stadium at the first attempt in October, but Harrison is delighted to have him on board now and feels that he will add some excitement to his side.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Cameron Terry and striker Freddy Garbutt have put pen to paper on contracts to stay with Witton until the end of next season.
And the other players confirmed as having been retained are Jacob Hamman, Matt Cook, Kyle King, Geffry Ebhote, Dammy Sotona, Harry Woods, Joel Bembo-Leta, Jack Walls, Ben Dufton-Kelly, Jack Hill and Billy Jones, who was injured at Congleton in September and has since been continuing his rehab.
