WITTON defender Nick Ryan will miss today’s meeting with Warrington Town after breaking his jaw.

The 24-year-old, who has started all but one of Albion’s games in the Northern Premier League this season, sustained the injury in Saturday’s win at Sutton Coldfield.

It has prompted manager Carl Macauley, already shorn of Anthony Gardner (ankle) and Anthony Brown (knee) from his defence, to make a new signing.

The club announced the arrival of versatile Joel Bembo-Leta from Premier Division rivals Altrincham this morning.

He has made 20 appearances for the Robins this season after moving to Moss Lane in the summer.
