OFFICIALS rated 1874 Northwich as the best team in the North West Counties League’s top-flight last month.
A sequence of four wins in all competitions secured the Macron Club of the Month award for November.
That run included league successes at Barnton (3-2) and at home to West Didsbury & Chorlton (1-0).
A side managed by Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison also made progress in the Cheshire FA Senior Cup by seeing off Macclesfield Town’s under 23s.
They then reached the FA Vase third round following a 5-1 thrashing of Northern League outfit Tow Law.
