MIDFIELDER David Fitzpatrick has left Northwich Victoria to play for New Mills.
He made his debut for the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South outfit in a heavy home defeat against Romulus on Saturday.
“Fitz needs to play matches,” said Vics boss Andy Preece.
“He’s not had much of an opportunity to play so far this season, mainly due to the form of others and so I felt it best that he gets games under his belt elsewhere.”
Fitzpatrick, 21, scored both goals in Vics’ Cheshire FA Senior Cup final success against Altrincham last term, but has started only two league encounters in the current campaign.
The ex-Stockport junior is the second fringe player in as many weeks to leave the Victoria Stadium following Raphale Evans’ switch to Evo-Stik NPL Division One North club Salford City.
