WINSFORD United have said goodbye to their 2025/26 top scorer.

Striker Ollie Pope has gone up a step and signed for Nantwich Town.

A Blues statement on X reads:” Last season's leading scorer will of course be missed.

“Although our management team have assured us that there are some exciting new signings arriving, which will be announced in due course.”

Midland League Premier Division side Winsford will start their pre-season friendly campaign at the start of July. Their fixtures are:

Meanwhile, Northwich Victoria are celebrating their manager’s player-of-the-year award winner Jefferson Abreu being named Midland League Premier Division Player of the Year!
