AWARDS have been presented by Northwich Rugy Union Club to recognise hard work, commitment and passion shown throughout the 2025/26 season.
Richard Dale was named club member of the year for his efforts on and off the pitch.
Following a couple of injuries Dale played for both the first and second teams during the season, while continuing with coaching the juniors on Sunday mornings, and when not on the field was often found serving behind the club bar.
The women in the pre-match hospitality team worked tremendously hard delivering excellent service to pre-match guests also post-match players, and were duly recognised as they collected the outstanding contribution award.
Morgan Slinger won the John Finch Award, an award in memory of John which is presented annually to an up-and-coming young achiever.
The community focused walking rugby group recognised Rob Foreman as player of the year, Geoff Chan as most improved and Seb John Lee as players’ player.
