NORTHWICH gymnast Edie Coyle delivered a career best result in a national competition.
The 15-year-old secured a vault bronze medal at gold level for the north west team in the Classic Challenge National Final in Surrey.
It is a first medal at this level for The County High School year 11 student thanks to the quality of her handspring front vault.
She is an all-rounder but enjoys competing in the vault discipline and does well in it.

Edie, who trains at The Wire Gymnastics Club in Warrington after switching from Warrington Gymnastics Club a year ago, has qualified for the past four years to the national final.
She has won the qualifying regional gold event in past years to head up the north west team of six.
The top six gymnasts from all regions of the UK were represented in the national team event in Surrey.
