NORTHWICH Rugby Club old boys were well represented in Sydney for the final match of the British & Irish Lions tour.

The local lads were led by Bryan Johnson, owner of Bucaneer Promotions, wearing a white version of the iconic Lions jersey.

Pre-match ‘rituals’ were followed by a seat in a very wet Accor Stadium where the Wallabies ran out 22-12 victors, denying the tourists a series whitewash.

Play was suspended for 37 minutes due to lightning strikes.
