IT was quite literally the perfect weekend in the capital for talented gymnast Dylan Lowth.
The 14-year-old from Delamere – a member of Moss Farm-based Cheshire Gymnastics – was competing at the London Open event and finished on the podium on every single piece of apparatus to be crowned under 16s overall champion.
Lowth won a medal on rings, pommel, vault, floor, high bar and parallel bars in a superb show of talent having won six gold medals in the North West Challenge Cup just last month.
He was joined in London by clubmates Kenny MacIntosh, Elliott Nixon and Zak Hudson and all three put in excellent displays.
Nixon picked up a silver medal on floor and MacIntosh a bronze on rings, while Hudson put in five personal-best displays.
