DYLAN Lowth is preparing for the London Open next month after his astounding haul of gold medals in the men’s artistic gymnastics North West Challenge Cup.

The 14-year-old from Delamere is coached at Cheshire Gymnastics by his older brother Ben, a former competitor at the club who moved into coaching and is going from strength to strength with his squad.

Dylan competed across all six pieces in the North West Challenge Cup, which was staged on home turf at Moss Farm and attracted all the major men’s artistic gymnastics clubs from the region.

He impressed on the floor, pommel, parallel bars, high bar, vault and rings to the point that he secured gold across every piece in a strong category, leaving everyone in attendance stunned.
