WITTON Albion have been handed a tough away tie in the next round of the FA Cup.
The draw for the third qualifying round, which was made this afternoon, has thrown up a trip across Cheshire to take on Macclesfield for Ben Harrison's men.
The tie will take place on Saturday, October 28, meaning Albion's scheduled Northern Premier League West Division home game against Trafford will have to be rearranged.
Witton have come through three qualifying rounds to get to this point, most recently beating Crook Town 2-1 on Saturday having earlier seen off City of Liverpool and South Liverpool.
However, they face an extremely tough proposition in the next round against a Macclesfield side that currently tops the NPL Premier Division and remains unbeaten this season.
They booked their spot in the third qualifying round by thrashing National League North side South Shields 5-0 at the weekend.
