1874 NORTHWICH will be the first of our teams to return to action after they confirmed their pre-season friendly schedule would start in June.
As part of their preparations for the Midland Football League season under new manager Chris Herbert, Greens will play eight friendlies with the first being a trip to Welsh side The New Saints on Saturday, June 15.
Three of their first four friendlies will be across the border, with games against Airbus UK Broughton (June 29) and Flint Mountain (July 12) also on the schedule.
The sole home fixtures come in late July – they face landlords Barnton at Townfield on July 20 and a Salford City XI four days later – while Witton Albion had already confirmed a game between the two neighbours at the U Lock It Stadium on July 30.
Trips to Runcorn Town and Kidsgrove Athletic completed 74’s schedule.
