WINSFORD Tennis Club are well into their new season, with two new courts hopefully in action soon.

Following the resurfacing of two of their four courts last year, the club have completed work to resurface the other two but are now waiting for drier weather in order to paint them.

Meanwhile, the club’s two senior teams have got their South and Mid Cheshire Tennis League campaigns underway.

The A team are in Division Four and have won one, drawn one and lost three of their five games this year, but the newly-formed B team have had a better time of it.

They have a win, a draw and a loss from their three games in Division Five, with the club having entered two teams for the first time.

The club have once again been kindly sponsored for the season by Winsford-based Ford dealership Cliff Dickenson & Sons.
